• Instigated a culture of whole school performance, working with the Drama department; Musical Director of school productions at major Brighton venues (West Side Story, Bugsy Malone and more)
• Created new ensembles, including a 60 member concert band, touring to Estonia and Switzerland
• Nurtured responsible independent pupil-led music making. More than twenty bands performed for the community at an annual Jazz and Pop showcase once a year (with a large‐scale sound and light design operated by our A‐Level music technology students)
• Responsibility for KS3, 4 and 5 curriculums (music and music technology), including 92 students at GCSE (this number nearly doubled during my time as Director), 12 A‐level and 12 Music Technology students
